What is it like working with us?
Nicky & Cheryl have over 38 years of combined work as doulas. Together, we having worked with hundreds of families for support, education, and help in birth, postpartum, and newborn care. We have 16 years combined experience in operating and managing a doula agency, and our team is at the heart of all we do to support clients.
Serene Bebe works within a group practice model. That means that families are supported by a team and have layers of care & excellent coverage. This allows doulas to have a higher quality of work/life balance without shouldering the demands of exclusivity with 1:1 clients. Our model means equally supporting all parties: the clients, the doulas, and our admin team at Serene Bebe.

Mentorship Opportunities:
Experienced and new doulas alike receive mentorship on our team at Serene Bebe.
For doulas with some experience this helps you to acclimate to the Serene Bebe culture and support our clients at the highest level, while developing greater skill as a doula.
For new doulas, just starting the journey of becoming a Doula with Serene Bebe, you will enter this work with support, guidance and gentleness. We support you in a way that emulates the way you will work with our future clients.
For each doula, Serene Bebe believes in meeting you where you are at and doula’ing the doula. Each Doula enters doula work with their own unique set of skills. When we start your mentorship we want to get to know you and we want to build on what you know! Doula work is not one size fits all so why should a mentorship be? We want you to bloom into this work with confidence in the skills you start with and with the willingness to learn and grow in the areas you don’t yet have. In the team approach, you aren’t going it alone, you have support every step of the way!
