Your little one is completely dependent on you and your care team. Everything else fades into the background in the oh so immersive postpartum stage.
As the weeks go by, you find your footing and grow into parenthood. Naturally, often around three to four months or later, many families notice their needs changing.
Your baby is more alert. Your routines begin to solidify into your new normal. Daily life starts to widen again.

When the time feels right, we can offer a gentle bridge into longer-term care through our sister company, Elite Family Care, so you don’t have to start over or figure things out on your own.
You might find yourself looking for someone consistent to care for your baby while you work (a Nanny), extra help keeping the days running smoothly at home (a Family Assistant or Home Manager), or occasional support when you need a little more flexibility to get out of the house (a Babysitter). Many parents find that blending different kinds of help makes this stage feel more manageable.

Many families will start adding daytime childcare or a family/home assistant while maintaining overnight support with their trusted doulas, ensuring excellent sleep and daytime childcare needs are both met.

Nanny Placements: Consistent, Longterm Care
Elite Family Nanny Placements are tailored to your family’s specific needs and schedule. This is the best type of care when you need a high level of consistency and reliability that focuses on the child with 1:1 care. Nannies understand stages of development and how to keep to routines. They will bond with your child/children and often will take them on outings for enrichment and can feel like an extension of your family.
Finding the right nanny takes time & energy. There are many components to a great fit! Elite Family Care understands the uniqueness of families and the details to ensure a good placement for both the nanny and family. When you bridge from Serene Bebe to Elite Family Care you receive greater continuity; we know you and that allows us a deeper understanding of what you need in a nanny. You can expect a Nanny placement to take anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks to find that perfect match, so families often start this midway through their maternity or parental leave.

Home Managers take over and run your busy home for you. More often we are doing placements for Family Assistants, a versatile support professional able to take on projects and tasks to free up more of your time.
A great Family Assistant is flexible and ready to help. They often take care of daily household tasks such as dishes, laundry, tidying, setting up family appointments, running errands, shopping, handling returns, prepping meals or foods, walking the dog/pet care. For some families, they may do fill-in childcare or help with chauffeuring children to activities or appointments. This membership provides access to trusted sitters, giving you peace of mind whenever you need an extra hand. Upon completion of your enrollment, the $150 registration fee is comped for our Serene Clients, and the only cost will be paying your sitter and any future booking fees (again, the first is complementary).
